Join East Bay TransWomen
Your paid membership allows you access to the East Bay TransWomen events calendar details. Most events are free, but if a fee is required be aware this usually covers only the cost incurred by the participant. We rely on membership dues and donations to pay for EBTW operating expenses.
When you sign up, your support helps us to continue serving the needs of the transgender community through social events, website maintenance, association costs, education, and outreach.
Sign Up Forms: Online and Snail Mail
ONLINE: You can pay your EBTW dues online using PayPal or credit card. Click the appropriate “add to cart” button(s) below and navigate to your cart (top of the page cart icon) to check out. Most applications will be reviewed within 1 week.
BY MAIL: Print out your membership application and mail it with your check or money order to: East Bay TransWomen, 2800 Pleasant Hill Rd, Suite 180, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Print application. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for a response.

We have an easy-to-follow process. Our application is structured to ensure that those who wish to join are a good fit with our social group. Once your application has been approved we will send you information on how to complete your registration.

Will I feel safe and secure at the events?
EBTW takes your privacy, safety, and security very seriously. You are not required to give us your legal name, address, or telephone number. Any personal information will be kept strictly confidential. It is up to you how much you choose to reveal in your conversations with other members.
Do I have to be a member to attend your events?
Membership is not required to participate in our activities. However, we encourage you to register.
Are there any rules about what I can wear?
We ask that you dress appropriately for the venue. Our members dress in a manner to represent a realistic gender expression, honestly. Our M2F members intent is to emulate the female expression, not to mock or ridicule.
Does your group offer any support for trans men?
Our group is focused on the male-to-female gender expression and identity. However, trans men are always welcome at our social events, which are open to everyone.
How do I find out where the events are located?
For privacy and security reasons, we do not share the locations of some events on the website. Venue information will be provided when you register.
Can I date trans women through EBTW?
This is not a dating service. EBTW intends to create opportunities where even the most vulnerable members can feel completely safe and secure. For that reason, we discourage those who may wish to attend for the purpose of hooking up with transgender people.
Can I join if I am not an adult yet?
You must be over 21 to participate in most activities, however those who are adults, 18 years and older, may join with the understanding that many of the events are in venues where those under 21 are not permitted.
Do you offer support for spouses?
Although we do not offer specific spousal support, we have a large group of significant others who participate in events and help with organizing. They often form lasting personal friendships with each other that extend beyond their involvement with EBTW.
